You can call into the Comrex units in BBC Radio’s MCR1 (formerly LCR) using their BBC SIP address from ipDTL’s dialpad, or a SIP codec registered to the sip.audio service. An internal booking must be made first.

At the BBC’s main Pacific Quay site in Glasgow, there is a dedicated Comrex BRIC-Link unit which is configured with a sip.audio account. There are additional Comrex units registered to the BBC’s SIP server, which can be called from a SIP Codec or ipDTL.
Legitimate contributors can contact us if unable to obtain the necessary SIP address(es) from a BBC producer.
